Quoted jobs

What We Quote, and Why

Some jobs vary too much for one honest price. These we quote by phone, by photo or on-site, for free.

  • Double-hung, casement, pull-pin and other non-standard window screens

They use different frames and hardware than a standard screen and come in more shapes and sizes, so a flat price would be wrong for most of them. Your tech quotes them by phone or on-site, and a photo usually settles it.

Which window screen do I have?

  • Security screen doors

Every Tru-View door is measured and ordered to fit your opening, and the frame, mesh and hardware you pick change the price. Built to resist cutting, prying and kicking. A deposit applies when you order.

    Security screen doors

  • Pet doors

The price depends on the size of the pet door and the door it goes into: a sliding screen door, a swinging screen door or a security door.

    Pet screens and pet doors

  • Roller and track repairs

It depends on which rollers your door takes and whether the track is damaged. We quote it flat before we start, usually $45 to $95.

    Screen door repair

  • Drop shades

Each shade is made to the size of the opening, motorized or manual, so we measure first and quote on-site.

    Drop shades

  • Screen rooms

Every enclosure is a custom build for your patio. We quote it after a free on-site consultation.

Timing

What “Same-Day Service” Means

Same-day service: we measure, build and install in one visit.

It describes the job, not the appointment. Once we're at your home, most screen work is finished before we leave: no taking your screens away, no second trip to install them.

We'll call you back within 1 business day. Most visits are booked within two weeks, often sooner in winter.

Retractable doors go in the same day when your size and color are in stock; otherwise we measure, order and install when it arrives. Security doors are always made to order: we measure, order and install when it arrives. Swinging doors arrive about a week after we measure.

“Jim and Ryan installed several screens and did a custom sliding screen door for us today. They finished the job so fast, I couldn't believe it! Their work was high quality and they were so professional and courteous and the prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for all your window screen replacement needs!”

“Ryan came out for the second time yesterday, and as usual did an amazing job for an absolutely great price. If I'm not using him, I see my neighbor has called him up to get the same great service. I always enjoy the friendly conversation, and you've made owning my 2 kittens doable and safe from them falling out a 2nd story window.”
