The main factors are the size of the area, complexity of the roofline and attachment points, number of doors, and your choice of mesh. A simple rectangular patio is the most straightforward. L-shaped or multi-level patios cost more due to additional framing and custom panel work. We provide a free on-site consultation after measuring.
Most San Diego HOAs approve screen rooms, especially when they use clean aluminum framing and neutral colors. We've worked with dozens of HOAs across the county and can provide spec sheets and renderings for your architectural review.
A typical single-patio screen room takes 1 to 3 days to install once the materials are fabricated. We give you the fabrication timing when you approve the design. Larger or more complex enclosures may take longer on-site.
Yes. Our aluminum frames are engineered for coastal wind loads, and we use heavy-gauge screen spline and reinforced corners. The mesh itself is flexible enough to absorb wind gusts without tearing. We've had screen rooms through Santa Ana wind events with no issues.
