Tougher mesh
Pet-Resistant Mesh
Tough on claws
A heavier, vinyl-coated polyester mesh that holds up to claws and pushing far better than standard fiberglass.
Windows and screen doors
Window screens, sliding screen doors and swinging screen doors, new or rescreened.
Bugs stay outside
The screen stays shut, so the flies don't follow the dog in.
Done at your home
We bring the mesh and the tools and do the work on-site.
Resistant, not proof. It takes a lot more than fiberglass does, but a determined dog can still get through. Pet damage is a normal repair at our posted prices.
Dog and cat doors
Pet Doors in Screen Doors
Sliding and swinging screen doors
We install a pet door in the screen door so your dog or cat can come and go while the screen stays shut.
Security screen doors
Tru-View security doors can be ordered with a built-in pet door.
Priced on-site
The price depends on the size of the pet door and the door it goes in, so your tech quotes it at your home. We don't install pet doors in glass.
How it works
How It Works
Measure
At your homeYour tech measures the screens or the door and quotes any pet door on the spot.
Build or order
Window and sliding door screens are built right there. New doors are ordered to size.
Install
Screens go in the same visit. An ordered door goes in when it arrives.
For cats
Window Screens for Cats
Cats climb screens and lean on them. Pet-resistant mesh stands up to claws, and a screen made to fit its opening snugly is much harder to push out than a loose one.
A screen keeps bugs out. It isn't a safety barrier, so don't count on any screen to keep a pet in at an upstairs window.

“Jim is wonderful. This is the second time he has built screens for us. This time we are trying cat screen. Let's see how the cats behave with our new fabulous screens!”

“Ryan came out for the second time yesterday, and as usual did an amazing job for an absolutely great price. If I'm not using him, I see my neighbor has called him up to get the same great service. I always enjoy the friendly conversation, and you've made owning my 2 kittens doable and safe from them falling out a 2nd story window.”

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does pet-resistant screen cost?
It adds $20 per window and $40 per screen door to the screen price. A standard window rescreen with pet mesh is $65, and a sliding door rescreen with pet mesh is $135. There is a $145 minimum for mobile service.
Is pet screen claw-proof?
No mesh is. Pet-resistant mesh holds up to claws and pushing far better than standard fiberglass, but a determined dog can still damage it. Damage from pets is a normal repair at our posted prices.
Can you put a dog door in my sliding screen door?
Yes. We install pet doors in sliding and swinging screen doors and in security screen doors. The price depends on the size of the pet door and the door it goes in, so we quote it on-site.
Do you install pet doors in glass?
No, we don't work with glass. We install pet doors in screen doors and security screen doors.
What's the best window screen for a cat?
A screen that fits its opening snugly, with pet-resistant mesh. It stands up to claws and is harder to push out than a loose screen. No screen is a safety barrier, though, so don't count on one to keep a cat in at an upstairs window.
Can you fix a screen my dog ran through?
Yes. We rescreen it at your home, and we can switch to pet-resistant mesh while we're there.
