West of I-5
Coastal Oceanside screens deal with the same salt and sand as any beach town. Rinse frames and door tracks with fresh water now and then, and expect the screens nearest the water to wear out first.
East of El Camino Real
Inland neighborhoods run warmer in summer. On sun-facing windows, solar mesh (its maker rates it at up to 90% of solar heat blocked) keeps rooms more comfortable without shutting out the air.
55+ and HOA communities
Oceanside has several age-restricted and HOA communities, Ocean Hills among them. Check your association's exterior rules before changing a frame color; we'll tell you exactly what we plan to use.
Beach cottages in South O
In South O and the blocks near downtown, many homes are older cottages and bungalows with small, odd-size windows. We cut each frame to its opening on the spot, so nothing has to be ordered and there's no second trip.

Oceanside questions
Do you really come out to Oceanside?
Yes. Oceanside is the northern edge of our service area; addresses north of it are outside the area.
Can you fix a retractable screen that isn't a Roll Away?
We only install and service Roll Away retractables. If yours is another brand, we can replace it with a Roll Away: $699 for a single door installed, or $1,299 for a French door set.
Coast or inland, which mesh should I choose?
Near the water, standard fiberglass or pet-resistant mesh. Inland, put solar mesh on the windows that take the afternoon sun and keep standard mesh on the shady side, where you want the light.
My association requires a certain mesh color. Can you match it?
Tell us the required color when you book. Standard fiberglass mesh comes in charcoal, gray and black; if your HOA asks for something we don't carry, we'll say so before the visit.
